The manager explained to me they specialized in same day staffing. Most of their client calls the same day looking for retail or general labor employees. I have work for Active for 6 months and they send me out to work 75 percent of the time. I work an average of 3 to 6months. They have jobs that pay from 7.25 to 10.oo an hour. They are professional and keep you informed threw out the process. Just need some patience!!!!!

I went to active in 05 and got my permanent job at conways on 149street n 3rd ave(bronx).I honestly got very lucky with the job!!That agency is garbage cuz they make u wait for sooo damn long and some of the workers are rude.I ONLY WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO PEOPLE WHO REALLY NEED A JOB AND HAVE PATIENCE!

Active staffing sucks the last time I was there was in 07 the wait time is crazy they really have you come in at 6am and you will wait for hours before you get a job and sometimes they will just tell you to go home and come back in the moring and if you happen to get a job you will be tired just from waiting around.. damn I HAVE TO GO THERE TOMORROW shhhhhhhhhhiiiittttttttttt......

I quit going to active staffing services two months ago. They only care for immigrants. Seems they want to hire just spanish immigrants whil blacks, regular latinos and others get shut downn cold. Go there yourself, witness how a spanish dude only waits 15 minutes there and boom, he got a job, but then also look at how some black dude got there before him and waited more than between 3-5 hours? Hmm, this sounds like racism,. Coincidence? I think not. Active cost me a broken finger and nightmares, dont come here if you have a degree

I don't recommend anyone to visit this agency. The staff are so unprofessional. I agree with several posters that most of them joke around too much. I've been getting work from them for three years now. I go through hard times just getting my check from this idiot, his name is Eugene I think. Heard many bad things about him. I've been able to become comfortable with some female staff there who gossips about him like crazy. This guy is purely stupid. One time I had my id and he claims it was not valid. Just like tony he is another dope head, heard from the girls he's a dead beat dad, paying child support for a kid he walked out on. Has a sexy ass ex wife. He thinks he's all that when all he got is a four year old sized dick with erection problems, walks around with different hoes who uses him for what they can get and who's bisexual! This guy is report to have slept with other men! What type of people they have working in this place!

Ive worked threw active they got some good jobs like macys and saks but alot of it is factory jobs and they pay 7.50 an hour 8.00 for Retail jobs and if you dont keep up in assembly jobs the company fires you and sends you back to Active
