I use to work for this agency back in 2008. I am wondering what happen. I guess it got shut down. Does anyone know another agency where i can find a job?

I used to work for this agency in 2005. They helped me find a job the same day I registered. As soon as one job was over, they had one lined up for me already. I miss that weekly income, lol. I didn't have any problems with any staff members of Temporary Excellence. They all treat me with respect. I recommend this agency to all my friends and for those on a hunt, seeking for a job right now. Sorry for those did had issues with this agency. I love them and had the best experience and opportunities. From museums, to college books stores. Retail is my life and it was surprising how TE were affiliated with certain companies. To me they stand by their name... Temporary Excellence!

I worked for Temp. Excellence and I almost started working immediately.They were there for me when I needed them--I've moved on..and now can use their assistance again. In reading comments that were posted,situations happen in jobs we all know that especially while interacting w/other employees and always remember that everyone is not going to like you-:)"and so what"!! So my advice to the people who had a problem, move on and find yourself another job. Do Not waste precious time b/c you cannot change people whether its at the agency or the job you are working on...come on--life is short, be happy and keep a smile on your face so that it can keep preety-:) I am also going to say that Jewel, Danielle, Samantha and the other employees of Temp.Excellence were always very good to me; so I rest my case there...now I'm going to give them a call....Wish me Luck!!

I used to worked for this agency four years ago. They help me a lot to find me a job the time that I was working for them. I didn't have any problem with the none of the recruiters of Temporary Excellence. They all treat me with respect. I personality recommend this agency to anybody that are seeking for a job righ now. Sorry for those did have issue with this agency in the past.

i work for this agency for almost 2 yr i the begging it was very good but once they found out the new york presbyterian hospital wanted to hire me as perm then got mad and fire me with no reason that why i dont like this agency especial one of the girl her name is samatha she is so nasty with a nasty attitue. if their a rating low then 0 hopeless i would give it to them

I worked for this agency for years while I was working through college and I have to say that my experience is similar to the previous poster. It was great to have work while I worked toward my degree, but when time came for a temp to perm situation (3x)they opted to put in another temp. I know I'm a good employee because they kept placing me, but it was basically about $$$$$$$ for them and more bouncing around for me.

I was contacted by this agency b/c my resume was posted on careerbuilder. I was one of their best temps, constantly requested by MTV Networks & Viacom. Eventually they put me in a temp-to-perm position. Unfortunately, an employee of MTVN lied about an incident, wrongly accusing me of breaking a company rule. The agency refused to defend me despite having eye-witness accounts disclaiming the disgruntled employee's story. In essence, this agency will find you a job, but will slice a huge chunk of the pay off the top & has no concern for their workers, just the dollar they can get from your work.
