I spoke with Carol back in Sept 2011 and she made get my physical exam that I had to paid form myself to start work at a Hospital. After filing out all forms taking test and gave her copy of my high school diploma I go back to see Carol in person for the status, she then told me she didn't know what was available. Then her customer service after a month later had the told nerve to tell me that I a school in another state told them I owed $7.00 balance.(WHAT)... SOME OTHER STATE I NEVER WENT TO SCHOOL THERE... WHAT A CRAP OF MESS. Carol isn't professional, she kept complaining to me how her 6" heel was hurting her feet. She didn't know when I would call. Waste of air... space and time....

i had a meeting with carol and she was so rude and nasty i just graduated from a trade school & she could care less she said you only have a high school diploma what am i supposed to do for you i have people who come in here with college degrees i just ignored her rude comment but who says that kind of thing to people she kept commenting on how pretty i was but then goes back to being rude and saying how i have basically no skills even though i went to school and learned Microsoft office and had a internship for 6 months she humiliated me and basically said i was not good enough..

I'm so sorry i have to agree Winston Staffing is terrible!! A certain recruiter failed to updated on their vacation pay policy..by the time i noticed she claimed it was too late?!?!? I had to go through extremes...(the Vice President)and might i add she was not much help! I'm just wondering if i was (White) would this have happened? NOT!!racist still in 2011!!SMFH.. Winston should be sued for discrimination...Winston needs diversity training! I'm sick of it!

Winston Personnel is an agency that does not care about placing potential employees as much as it cares about playing games. I registered with Winston three years ago. At the time, I was employed and the account executive wanted me to go on interviews for jobs paying less or with less benefits. It was painfully obvious that her only concern was placing me and making the commission. Now, that the economy has affected me as well, the account executive won't speak to me. It's as if she has taken it personal because I was looking for the best for myself. It seems to be like a game for her and she has won. I see a woman's post in which she says that she is well spoken,confident and well groomed as am I. I would like to know if that is enough to get Winston to go to work for you.

I really do not like to bad mouthed people but D. Epstein omg she is the worst! Winston will loose contracts and clients =$!!she is Unprofessional Racist i'm sorry, but she gives Winston a bad name. I really hope that it is just this one individual and not the company as a whole!

Judging by the postings, I could see why a lot of you never got hired. A staffing agency is like real work meaning first impression counts. Applicants walk in with jean, bad resumes, and nasty attitudes. For example, What type of work are you looking for? Anything, Really are you qualify for anything. Tone it down folks before you judge a staffing agency especially Winston please check yourselves. Make sure you are ready to work. Carmen and Doni are great. I was placed and was hired permanently. so, may be some of you need professional help like attitude adjustment.

I was about to apply for a job and I read everyone's comments. We are in a recession,these company's want the best,from how you dress,how you speak,education and just reading everyone's comments shows me that I will have such a good chance at getting a job,I speak well,I look good,know how to to dress,I"m at work on time everyday,I get along with everyone at work,I'm a team player,I care about my job and more important than that,I represent myself as a well spoken,confident,well groomed,hard working woman. I think that everyone you (the ya know-and all the other slang-ghetto-words you use just won't get you a job,sorry to say and knowone will listen,bottom line!

I would never recommend this agency to anyone because this agency is bullshit!!!When they call me for the register they make me bring toooooooo much papers its hopeless (for nothing)!!My agent is Carol she is very rude and has bad attitude and she doesnt know how to speak properly with people she has no mind...I hope she will be in the same position as a person that doesnt have a dam job...They look like they are doing something but they dont do any shit work!These are stupid people when they dont understand when we all need a job!They promise so much..................! I have had pretty good experience with Winston Agency. Carol Carlton always called me when they had assignments. When my assignments were over if they needed someone to work she would always send me. I guess being placed is based on your experience and quality of work.

In the summer of 2007, when I was looking for temp work, I sent in a resume (well written, by the way)... and heard nothing. And nothing. So I called Winston and spoke to a lovely woman named Hillary, who barked at me that they would call me when they had something. My ear eventually recovered from the scorching, but I never did hear from Hillary again. If you've read all these raving reviews and still want to send these people your resume, forget it. You'll have better luck selling peanut M&Ms on the subway.

They have no jobs. When you do get an assignment, it's only for a couple of days and the jobs are garbage. Join other agencies because Winston is a waste of time.

I have read all the comments listed here and can understand both sides, however I agree with the negative comments toward this staffing agency, I would not blame the agency but I will blame some of the workers there. Even with an excellent resume, one staff person in particular would not bother to call me to keep me updated, these agencies should know that we are all trying to look for employment, the staff person I had did not care at all. I feel to do that kind of job you should care and even if you don't just fake it. I would not recommend this agency at all.

I have only had positive experiences with Winston. They send me to various companies and pay a fair hourly rate. Carmen and Doni have been nothing but helpful to me. It must have been your poorly written resume that kept them from sending you out to their clients.

It seem to me that this temp-agency should close up shop for mother****ing good,I mean,I have never dealt with a temp-agency that is absolultely bull****,1,someone needs to fire that stupid-ass counselor named Carmen Collazo,the stupid-ass don't even knows how to read a dog-gone resume and she has the ****in'ass nerve to say that my resume is no-good,man?!,**** her stupid ass,and to make matters even worse,I had faxed my resume to this stupid-assed lady name Doni Epstein,hoping that she would be more reasonable than that stupid-ass **** Carmen Collazo,and even this stupid mother****er gave me a ****in'ass hard time with my resume as I was calling her up to find out if she had received my faxed resume,I had asked her if she recieved my resume,and she replied,"yes I have received your resume,and I cannot use you",I had replied,"what do you mean that you cannot use me?",she replied back to me with the dummest assed response that could of her ass kicked,"we simply cannot use you",and without getteing into a heated arguement with the stupid-ass,I simply replied back to her,"thank you very much",and hung up the phone on dumb-ass.Someone needs to set these stupid-ass mother****in' job counselors at Winston Staffing Services straight,ya'know what am sayin'.
