Very poor customer service to their temps. While placed on an assignment the client asked me to consider staying on permanent. I declined and the customer became angry. I told my contact at Manpower about this and she laughed. The client changed my assignment to a lower level position to punish me. I told my contact and she asked me to hang in there while she try to find me another assignment. A few days later I wasn't feeling well and called my Manpower contact who said she would contact the client. The next day I went to work but the client asked me to leave because I was a no call no show the day before. When I went to Manpower and told my contact what happened she said she forgot to call the client and apologized but said she would take care of my time card since the client refused to sign it, again to punish me. After all was said and done I was not placed on another assignment. When I inquired as to why they were having trouble finding me a position they told me that the last position I worked at left negative comments such as, I was rude, I didn't show up for my assignment and I lied on my time card. I could not believe they let this client leave negative comments about me when I did everything in my power to finish the assignment even though I had to deal with a toxic client on a daily basis and it was my Manpower contact who forgot to contact the client the day I was sick.
