A-Star Staffing

I had a good experience at A-Star. They were friendly enough, but their testing and screening process was a little more demanding than at other services. I think they are trying to keep their standards high.

This agency has a very rude girl at the front desk. She has black hair and freckles, and you probably couldn't pay her to smile or be even remotely gracious. I went to this agency because Kaiser said they are one of the ones that they use. Unfortunately, the girl at the front desk was so unhelpful, unknowledgable, and had a pissy attitude, that I walked out in the middle of her yammering. Needless to say, that was all I needed to see to know that I would not EVER use this agency. The front desk person is the representative for the company, and if they suck, you can imagine the rest. Also, once I saw that this was part of Robert Half, I wasn't at all surprised. They are also one of the rudest agencies out there. I do not recommend this place, in fact I recommend you don't waste your time, and keep on looking.

The staffers did a decent job of looking for jobs and kept me updated. But the pick of jobs I received weren't all that good.

a star sucks they are backstabbing and full of **** they don't back there employees for **** so **** them and the white horse they rode in on

When A-Star says they think they are the nicest staffing company in the world, they truly mean it! The ladies that helped me at A-Star were very helpful in finding me the job I want. I had various specifications when finding a job and they found me a job that met all my needs. I've been to several staffing agencies around San Diego and settled with A-Star because they actually care about their clients.
