RUN don't walk away from this agency. They are bad news. The owners are ruthless and will do anything to place applicants in jobs that are not a good fit just so they get their commission. Should you be offered a job at a much lower pay rate than you deserve, they bully you into either taking it or tarnishing you name whenever possible. Trust me when I tell you that this is NOT the office you want to help with your job search.

The worst agency I have EVER worked with. They did place me with one company for a temp assignment and every time I worked there, come payday there would never be a check in my mailbox. This went on for numerous occasions. Numerous pay periods, numerous "checks sent in the mail" and never arriving. I would call to pick up my check and would get an excuse that the owner was out of the office (from the owner herself!). She would not leave my check w/the receptionist, when I would suggest we meet somewhere to talk so she could give me my check then, she'd either show up and talk and NOT have my check or say she was going to be way on the other side of town. I have received mail from out of the country with no problem, from other states with no problem, from local business, etc with no problem. But when it came to actually getting my paycheck in the mail from her, "somehow there was a ghost in the machine and my mail would go astray". Complete and utter BS!!! In the end I wound up having to chase this woman down all the way in Scottsdale from Mesa, while she was getting her nails done because she balked when I told her I didn't believe she was mailing my checks. I should not have had to chase this woman down for any of my pay checks, which in the end, weren't even OFFICIAL pay checks - none of them included my tax information, hours, rate, etc. They were just checks she wrote out! I still don't believe she ever put a single check in the mail and is the only person working there. I may have been more amenable to her situation had she been honest with me upfront, especially when I simply asked for my check to be left in her office so I could pick it up. Instead, all I got was the run around. VSP Search is incredibly unprofessional, unreliable, and does not care about the staff it employs as temps. I will not ever use this agency again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. And if you are reading this thinking about calling them for work, don't waste your time. Am sure the positive comments above are written by the owner herself! That's how shady she is!

I went to many agencies after my company had a majoy reduction in force.I was so impressed with the professionalism and caring sttitude by everyone I met at VSP.I know they get paid by the companies they place people at-as do all the rest but they were different.They were extremely knowledgable about the industry and market. They know the their client companies so well. I was overwhelmed with the personal attention,and the great insight into the companies they sent me to. I went to four other agencies and the recruiters were so jaded about the market that I left feeling worse than when I went in. Vsp told me what I knew, that the market has changed but because they have been here for so many years they have a loyal clientele and it was true I have been at my new company for 5 weeks thanks to Vsp.They made the difference!

FIVE STARS. I've used VSP several times in the past 12 years and been very happy with each experience. I've found them to be up front about the jobs they present to me, and really look for the right personality fit whether it be one day, one week, or a permanent placement. When I called them after 10 years of not needing their services, with just my name, the VP immediately recognized me and said "didn't you go to XYZ Co.?" and she was right on the money. Most agencies in this industry don't have people there for this long, much less remember an individual after an entire decade. FIVE STARS.

I used them for years when I needed administrative support. They screen to fit the position, the culture of the company and the technical skills needed. All the people I hired from them went on to management or sales position in the firm. I recommend them highly.

VSP is an excellent personnel company who that I have used to place me in jobs over the course of several years. I used them when we needed temporary or temp-to hire positions when I was with large home builder. They thoroughly research their clients needs and also test the applicants to make sure that there is a good fit. I am using them again, now that I have relocated back to this area and put my trust in VSP!

Wow- I don't know where these other people went but I have used VSP for over 15 years they have placed me three times and each experience was excellent.I have always found them to be honest straight foward and extremely professional.Every company they placed me with has had only great things to say about their experience! I even had one of the recruiters loan me a pair of shoes when my heel broke before my interview-that was amazing.

I would not recommend this agency. This was my first time dealing with them. I was suppose to get an interview set up and I kept asking about it since I would have liked the position there was always some reason why the interview had not bet set and I was told to hang there. That was the last contact from them on March 24, 2009. It is now April 11, 2009 and I have never heard back either way about the interview. Very poor service.

I dont recommend this company. They are nice but do not return phone calls or work hard at fitting people in that really want to work.

This agency is the worst agency I have ever worked with. They are disorganized, lack follow up, and for a recruiting agency, they dress poorly and unprofessionally. I do not recommend this company to someone unless they are desperate!

I found them to be a great agency for placement. They are not the typical corporate type agency where it is all about numbers. They have personal relationships with the companies they refer to. They know more about what type of personality would fit in with the companies they represent. They helped me find a job when I was at my wits end trying to get in with a quality company. They matched me with a like minded company. They also did a great job with helping me with my resume and advising me on interviewing techniques.

I agree with the other postings this company represented a higher salary just to get me in, then the agent didn't know a thing about my industry.

They don't help you with your search at all. They don't listen to what you are looking for and they don't take responsibility when they mess up. I got a job through another staffing agency and they called the company before I started and tried to get buisness out of them by telling them they hired one of their canidates even though I didn't come from them. They obviously don't care about the candidates at all, only out for themselves.

This agency will not give you what you want, they will only do what is best to line their own pockets even if that means lying to candidates and clients in order to maintain the commissions contracted.
