i find it funny that almost every comment i read is very harsh and cruel!!! these staff take a lot of time and effort to do everything they can to help people get a TEMP job! if you don't like there services then find them somewhere else! as for Kathy, i think she is a very nice and intelligent person!

They are great! All you who write disgusting, spitefilled comments are faceless, anonymous malicious comments are cowards. There is no wonder why you are not employed and eastern couldn't help you...you are childish and are lacking proper morales and ethics. They have been more than helpful to me and my wife. I have seen clientele there such as yourself and it's no wonder why you needed extra help finding work. They have gone above and beyond for my family and I appreciate that!

It worked for me. This site is full of cry babies and losers...GO out there and get your own jobs, face it they are a company not a government service, they dont need to help you. If they didnt get me a job I wouldnt sit around waiting for a call, I would be hitting the pavement.

PEOPLE!!! Think about how many people are looking for jobs.. and one of the places that EVERYONE goes is to the temp agencys... get a grip... If you really expect these people to take a personal intrest in your life... get a grip! They have about 30 applicants for every job that opens up... so get in line and stop pissing and moneing

They are the best temp agency in the binghamton area hands down. They have always have helped me. The rest of them never have any jobs. Reading these reviews is pretty entertaining seeing a lot of you dont understand they are a Temporary employment agency not a full time professional placing agency. Take it with a grain of salt if they don't get you a job or you keep trying with little success..move on. They have found me good jobs and bad jobs, I do understand they are temporary jobs not careers.

I think Kathy is wicked bitchy. And it is not a good thing that the manager is handling your file because she has to be in control. And I get it all the time too...where Kathy will say, "let me call you back" and then I never hear anything from her. I was told by Kathy that I was first on her list and one time she called me with a job and I got back to her within ten minutes but the job was no longer available. I have a great resume and great experience. I dont think they care about their temps...they care about making money and I am just a number to them.

Apparently, Kathy likes to handle all applicants!!! Too bad, because who wants to wait 30 minutes for her to answer the phone, only to be told I'll call you back(FOR THE THIRD TIME). The only thing good about calling eastern is you get to listen to good country music, while you wait, wait and wait.......................

I stopped in their office just yesterday for the first time. They had me fill out an application, and interviewed me within an half-hour of doing so! I don't know if I'll actually get a job through them, but if we're the ones job hunting, it's still our responsibility to be looking elsewhere at the same time. Plus, it's really pretty silly to complain about a service that doesn't cost you anything beside a small amount of time! If you didn't get a job through them, chances are someone either applied earlier than you or is just more qualified/available for a specific position. Just keep looking. I've tried going through Eastern several times, and the only job they could actually find me sucked. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose, however with the amount of time it takes Eastern to find someone a job, it'd better be the perfect fit. I'm still waiting on a job after two months (and what's worse, Kathy didn't seem to take me seriously while I was in there!) and yet, every time I crack open the job section in the paper, they have jobs all over pages. Go to Employment Solutions in the Galleria or call them at 607-217-7133, they seem to have decent jobs.

So far so good...I submitted my application awhile ago and just re-activated it. The staff has been EXTREMELY accommodating, and extremely helpful. Yet to get a job though because apparently Kathy will not allow the reps to handle my file, apparently she wants to handle it personally but cant till she returns from vacation! Now that is what I call good service...when the office manager takes on files personally!

They are the bitchiest personnel ever. They are absolutely slow in finding people jobs. I went there in the beginning of October and it is now December. Still no job. They suck, they are slow and they don't do their job.

They are the best. they found me a job that i actually like. The other temp agencies were poor and couldn't find any jobs worth while.
