Is being an HR difficult??

I'm just wondering if being an HR is difficult? I think that the job is exciting but my friend says it is quite difficult because you are the one responsible in hiring those applicants in the company.

Well yeah... it is difficult. Anything which the new applicants do .. somehow or the other the blame goes on you .. so must be extremely responsible to go for this kinda job...

Oh! I also heard that it is difficult. They really have a hard time reviewing all those resumes and deciding if they should accept or hire the applicant as one of the employee in the company. Anyway thanks for sharing your opinion.
