View Full Version : How much time
I'm just curious about this. There are a lot of applicants who are applying for the job. How much time do you think does the HR actually devote to looking or reading at the resume of the applicants?

Oh! Dude it takes loads of time... well HR's need to go practically through every resume and need to check everything is correctly filled by the applicant ... trust me it is not an easy job...

Yes! My friend is a HR in a leading company, he says that they have to work all night when the recruitment is going on, all night they discuss resumes, and debate on each person whether he is capable of handling this responsibility or not! It isnt a eazy job :)

As far as reading resumes: our company takes very little time in reading resumes because HR thinks that anyone can draft a resume since there are thousands of resume templates on the web that you can take a template and put your name on it and change a few words on it and ta-da- you have your very own resume. We do a lot of background checking, credit checking, fingerprinting, and sometimes do a handwriting analysis.
